Cover-All Named Official Sponsor of the Parelli Celebrations

Dear Linda and Pat,
Another great day, thanks to your newsletter!! It topped last Friday's sales!! I called Margaret to let her know that we were approaching $10,000.00 in profit for her, and she is so grateful. I again gave the Parelli team much of the credit for the great boost in sales.

Next week is the final week of the tribute on Equestrian Nation to Tom Dorrance. The show again has more comments from Pat, along with a combination of footage from many different sources of Tom. Question:
After watching this month's DVD, I just felt I had to write. Vanna and my gelding could almost be twins. Years ago, when I began riding him I realized that his body parts were all in the right place, but nothing good was happening in his movements. He had been pushed into a physical posture before he was mentally ready for it, as well as not having the "head set" connected to his legs. As I watched Linda go through the steps with Vanna, I saw all of the pieces of my puzzle coming together, just as I had used them. I really appreciated the riding demo with the RB horsenality. It was good to see how Linda handled Vanna when problems came up. The posture segment was very well done and now I have exercises to work on over the winter! I just had one question....Linda did not explain the significance of pulling the ribs together. What is the purpose of that part of the posture change? I am REALLY pleased to see things for the more advanced student showing up on the DVDs. Thanks! Paula

Answer:
I'm thrilled to hear how much this DVD is helping you — thank you for letting us know.

Regarding your question about pulling the ribs together — what that essentially does is engage your spine. When you pull your belly button back and ribs together, it engages your whole back. You cannot lift your back by engaging your back muscles; you have to use the muscles of your stomach and around your ribs.

I have been wanting to teach more about riding with Finesse for a long time, but not until I knew how to make it simple!
